Day after Real Madrid midfielder Pablo Garcia claimed he "wanted to cry" after sending-off his
team-mate. "I'm not going to cry because we don’t do that, but I want to. It is the first time I have ever seen such a fast sending-off.The referee wanted to impose his law. I don’t know why Beckham got sent off. Maybe it’s because he’s blonde and pretty. The referee is capable of sending him off for that. The red card was too harsh for what Beckham did. There are tackles going in everywhere and he gets a red card for applauding – it’s
unbelievable." Due to the Real Madrid appeal the red card was cancelled by the Spanish FA’s
disciplinary.

7th December 3, 2005 for Real Madrid vs Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid. Sent off by referee Teixeira Vitienes. Beckham was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Getafe

Luxemburgo.

After the match Fabio Capello (Real Madrid's coach) told the press : "We have had little help from referees this year. It was a foul in favour of Beckham
(moment before) and I think the referee was a little quick to flash a red card. I've seen it on television and I don't think it merited a red card."
When David was leaving the pitch supporters applauded him. It was his 150th match at Real Madrid. Because of this booking he was suspended for the Derby clash against Atletico Madrid at Vincente Calderon Stadium.
